Settings: Course Menu Design
Individualize your Blackboard course by changing the navigation style and colors of the course menu. You can create buttons or just change the colors of the course menu listing.
Change the design of your course menu
- Control Panel > Course Design (from Course Options pane)

- Click on Course Menu Design

- If you choose Text by selecting the radio button next to the word text:
- Click on the PICK button next to Background to choose the background color.
- Click on the PICK button next to Highlight to choose your menu text color.
- Click Submit

If you choose Buttons:
- Choose Button type from the drop down menu
- Choose Button Shape by selecting the radio button next to Rounded Corners, Rectangular, or Rounded Ends.
- Choose Button Style by clicking on the button stule names from the list in the box.
- Use the Gallery of Buttons link to see choices for each substyle. (A pop up window will open with more type, shape and style choices)
- Click Submit
- Click on your Course Title in the Navigation path below the blue title bar at the top of the screen.
- Your new course menu selections should appear in the left menu bar
Note: If the changes do not appear, click the Refresh button at the bottom of the left menu bar
