A Little Bit About Podcasting

Some basic information on what a podcast is, where they came from, what kinds of podcasts are out there, and some links to a variety of different examples of podcast collections and blogs about podcasting.

 

Why Podcasting is an Effective Instructional Choice 

Podcasting as an educational tool seems to support two different learning models:  Gagne's Nine Events of Instruction and Keller's ARCS.  This page has some basic information on these learning models, and explains how podcasting can be used to support different types of learning and learning styles.
