 Grade a Student Quiz

Quizzes and Tests created with the Test Manager can have closed questions (multiple choice, matching, etc.) or open questions (essay or short answer). Open questions must be graded by the instructor.

To grade a quiz with open questions:

1. Go to the Control Panel in your course

2. Click on Gradebook

3. Locate the column of the quiz you need to grade

4. Locate the student who's quiz you need to grade and click on the (!) exclamation point, or score which indicates their quiz has been submitted.

 5. Click the "View" button. You will see the students quiz submissions. 

6. You can then manually grade the student's quiz by filling in the score next to points box.

7. You can also Add comments by clicking the Modify Comments button on this page.
